For years, sharing team batting helmets was the norm in baseball and softball. It was an economical way to provide players with the necessary baseball equipment for games and practices. However, at some point during the season, there would be a sudden head lice outbreak. The whole team was soon itching, scratching, and delivering a nightmare for parents and a player’s entire family.

Cohasset Youth Baseball & Softball Association officially begins the 2016 spring season with the annual parade from approximately 8:00 am until 10:00 am on Saturday, April 30. Players, coaches, parents, grandparents, family dogs (on leashes) and average baseball fans, will take to the streets as the crowd marches through town until reaching the Barnes Field Baseball & Softball Complex.
